- Strange Sounds at the OK Corral -- an excerpt from a Roadrunner from mid-1968.
- "Chairborne GIs Erase Attacking Reds" -- On the night of Feb 22-23, 1969, there was a fierce ground attack on Long Binh Post. This news story appeared shortly afterwards. I don't recall now if it came from Stars & Stripes or the Army Times. See also my own observations on the events of that night.
- Mock Accident Report -- This is a parody of the accident reports that I was required to write. Any drivers who were unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident will surely recognize some of this, especially the "reverse" military nomenclature.
- Map of Long Binh Post -- Just an outline, really, but it shows where everything was.
- How to Become a Civilian Again -- This bit of humor has been floating around the Army since at least as far back as WWII, but it's still a classic
- So You Want a Day Off -- This is another classic that is as valid today as it ever was.
- Reenlist for the Advantages -- And finally here's another one that everyone will recognize. I'm sure it's still making the rounds.
