So you've been crying about how much you do? Never get time off?
Well, let's look at this way. There are 365 days in a year. You are entitled to 30 days leave, and you have the privilege of a three-day pass every six weeks. That's a total of 56 days, leaving 309.
There are approximately 16 national holidays and 104 Saturdays and Sundays. That narrows the balance to 189 days.
You sleep eight hours a day and spend another eight hours off-duty. That comes up to another 126 days of your year and leaves Uncle Sam with 63 days.
If you take an hour a day for coffee, Cokes and incidentals, that is 15 days a year. Only 48 days left.
Fifty-two half days a year are set aside for PT, information and educational lectures. The balance is now 22 days.
Out of these 22 days, 12 are pay days, and you know how much gets done then -- that leaves 10 days.
Statistics show that two days a year is the average that person spends in the dental clinic, and seven days undergoing medical treatment. That narrows it down to one day.
And if you can't figure out how to goof off for only day out of a whole year, you're hurting.
