"The Rue Catinat near the theatre." The Rue Catinat was renamed Tu Do Street after the French left; after the fall of Saigon is was renamed again, and it is now known as Dong Khoi Street. Those are the spires of the Notre Dame de Saigon cathedral in the distance.

On the right side is the Continental Hotel. Built by Mr Cazeau in last quarter of the XX th century, bought after by the Duke of Montpensier for his girlfriend, further owned by Mr Frazetti and after by Mr Franchini. -- M. Pinet
