This plaque was outside the entrance to the 6th Transportation Battalion HQ. In case you can't make it out, it says "Headquarters, 6th Transportation Battalion (Truck), Dedicated to and in Memory of William E. Kennedy, PFC E-3, US 56384262, Dennis R. Lehman, PFC E-3, US 52643618, 87th Tranportation Company (Light Truck) while participating in convoy operations on 21 November 1966 were ambushed by a hostile force and gave their lives in defense of the ideals nf liberty and freedom. 22 February 1967"
